ChemResearch Co., Inc. is based in Phoenix, Arizona, and operates a multifaceted plating, anodizing and grinding facility. The company has been serving the needs of the aerospace, electronics, commercial, automotive, and medical device industries since 1958. The Sonora facility opened its doors in 2006. Chemresearch provides services in the areas of Hard (Type III), Sulfuric (Type II), Chromic (Type I) Anodize, Chem Film (Conversion Coat Irridite), Electroless Nickel (Both Mid & High Phos.), Copper, Nickel, Dry Film Lubricant, Paint, Zinc Phosphate, Silver, Passivate, Internal (ID), External (OD) and Centerless Grinding. A staff 250 years of combined experience can handle specific quality, production, workshop and delivery requirements.

The company’s Sonora plant specializes in the provision of services to aerospace and genral manufacturing industries that include: Anodizing processes of type I, type II and type III, as well as conventional Chem Fil and ROHS Chem The plant currently service orders from several companies in Mexico, as well as in the United States.

In 2008, the Sonora plant will have achieve NADCAP approval. Chemrearch has Mexican production lines that can handle high volumes, as well as small orders. According to the plant manager, Hector Acosta, “the facility has plenty of space in which to increase capacity and offer new services”.
