Horst Engineering is a contract manufacturer of precision machined components for aerospace, medical, and other high technology industries. Their core processes include Swiss screw machining, turning, milling, thread rolling, centerless grinding, assembly, and supply chain logistics. Core product families include fasteners, pins, valve bodies, bushings, pistons, sleeves, housp-horstings, and many other custom components. The company is known as a small and medium sized parts specialist with a focus on products under 12.00 inches (300mm) in diameter. The company is AS9100/ISO9001:2000 registered and maintains operations in East Hartford, Connecticut and Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico. Sister company, Thread Rolling Inc. provides thread rolling, centerless grinding, and roll knurling services.

Horst Engineering was founded in 1946 and is in its third generation of family ownership and management. The company is known for its progressive environmentally sustainable practices, symbolized by the 39 kW solar photovoltaic electric power system located on the roof of one of their Connecticut plants. Horst Engineering de Mexico was launched in Nogales, Sonora in 2006 and moved to Guaymas in 2009.
