Ricardo Dominguez graduated as aeronautical engineer at the National Polytechnic Institute in 1978. His first 10 years of professional experience were spent with Mexicana Airlines. He served in the following capacities: A&P Mechanic, line maintenance supervisor, maintenance engineer, technical instructor, maintenance QA inspector and NDT inspector (Eddy Current, magnaflux, Dye check and boroscoping inspections), Technical Training deputy chief, QA deputy chief and Overhaul and Support Shops department chief (Overhaul, Sheet Metal, Avionics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Engines, etc.).

Additionally, Mr. Dominguez worked for Varig Airlines as Flight Operations coordinator, then with the Wolffe Group Consulting firm providing consulting services for clients such as: Aeromexico, Aerotech Engineering, Avtel Corporation, Dren-Air, Evergreen, Mirabelli Engineering Group Matrix Aeronautica, McDonnell Douglas Technical Services, Royal Bank of Canada, Samsung Aerospace, United Technologies Corporation, US Airways, Magnicharters and Interaer.

Following time spend as a consultant for the Wolffe Group, he was employed by Pratt & Whitney Composites Mexico as Operations manager and Engineering manager, and then as an aerospace engineer for BC Manufacturing.

Ricardo holds the designation of regional representative of the Aeronautical Engineers Professional Association is has also been appointed as the Baja California Aerospace Cluster leader. Since April 2007, has been responsible as the technical manager for Repair & Overhaul Engineering Department and Accountable Manager for Repair Station for DGAC & FAA at Honeywell Aerospace de Mexico’s organization.

Mr. Dominguez is an AS9100 Lead auditor and Six Sigma certified.
