Mexico Outsourcing Management

Mexico management that is stable, knowledgeable and highly competent is critical to ensuring the success of the activities of the companies that benefit from The Offshore Group’s nearshore solutions. The company’s Mexico outsourcing management team has more than 130 years of experience with The Offshore Group, and is made up of the following members:

Juan Carlos Seldner joined The Offshore Group in 2000. He is the COO of The Offshore Group’s full services third party logistics firm, The ILS Company. His prior experience includes assisting Goodrich Aerospace with the launch of its Mexican operation in Guaymas, Sonora. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from University of Arizona in 1999.

Armando Lee has been with The Offshore Group since 1997 and currently is the General Director of The Offshore Group´s Empalme and Guaymas operations. He holds a degree from “Instituto Tecnológico y Estudios Superiores de Monterrey” (ITESM) and an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix. He is originally from Hermosillo, Sonora and is fluent in English and Spanish.

Steve Colantuoni joined The Offshore Group in 2000. He serves as the company’s Director of Corporate Marketing. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, a bachelor’s degree from McGill University, and a master’s certificate in digital marketing from the University of San Francisco.  He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Bill Golden is the president of The ILS Company. His relationship with The Offshore Group began in 1996. Prior to joining ILS, Bill had been the president of three automotive supplier companies. He was awarded 4 patents, and has been the chairman of two Society of Automotive Engineering Committees and received numerous awards for his activities in both SAE and TMC.

Miguel Hernandez has been with the Offshore Group since 1997. He is the director of operations of the companies Saltillo, Coahuila, and is responsible for the facility’s start-up. Miguel holds an MBA from the Iberoamericana University, and has over 25 years of experience in HR functions, marketing and general administration.  He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Jose Humberto Colunga is The Offshore Group’s IT director for the last 10 years. He holds an electronics engineering degree from the Technological Institute of Sonora, and has 20+ years of experience overseeing all aspects of IT, from product development, operations and strategy planning. He is also responsible for application and network deployments, budgets, policies, business analysis, and cross-functional operations.

Luis Felipe Seldner III is The Offshore Group’s director of continuous improvement, and has been with The Offshore Group since 2005. Prior to joining the company, he spent 10 years working in the area of financial services and investments. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona, and is originally from Guaymas, Sonora.

Felix Tonella, Jr., V.P. of Operations of Vangtel, gained call center experience with GE Consumer Finance. As a, Six Sigma Black Belt, he was part of the team that initiated GE’s consumer banking operation in Mexico. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Monterrey Institute of Technology and an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird, School of Global Management in Phoenix, AZ.

Carlos Martin Espriu is one of The Offshore Group’s executive vice president’s. He began his career with the company in 1989 as information systems manager. In that position, Mr. Espriu developed Offshore’s first computer system devoted to client support services.  He was promoted to be Maquilas Teta Kawi´s General Manager in 1995 and to EVP for the group in 2006.

Eduardo Saavedra assumed the position of Executive Vice President of Business Development in January 2008. The position carries corporate level responsibilities to engage the company in strategic thinking and planning to sustainably grow The Offshore Group’s businesses by acquiring new clients, opening new venues, and supporting existing clients with their development in Mexico.

Jeff Prileson serves as The Offshore Group’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He joined the company in 1993, and has overall responsibility for the Group’s financial affairs and client contractual relationships. He also serves as a strategic advisor to the Group’s CEO as a member of the Executive Management team.
