One of the principal ways in which The Offshore Group minimizes risk for its Shelter Plan customers in Mexico is to deliver accounting services through a professional staff of highly experienced individuals. This service eliminates the need for Offshore Group clients to have a dedicated accounting staff for its Mexico activities.
The Offshore Group performs all of the requisite functions in accord with tax rules and regulations on both the Mexican federal and state levels, as well as monitors evolving tax rules and regulations for the purpose of ensuring that Shelter Plan clients operate within the fiscal parameters established by Mexico's Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público, Mexico's equivalent of the IRS.
The scope of services included under The Offshore Group Shelter Plan in this area includes:
o Provisional Corporate Income Tax- Impuestos Sobre Renta (ISR)
o Annual Corporate Income Tax (ISR)
o State Payroll Tax
o Value - Added tax payments and refund requests
o Annual reporting of hourly and salaried wages
o Annual salary credit report
o Distribution of copies of Mexican Import Manifests
o Monthly calculation and reporting of value-added in Mexico
o Submission of Import-Export statistics to the Mexican National Institute of Statistics, Geography and Informatics (INEGI)
