The Offshore Group executive management team is comprised of the following members:
Luis Felipe Seldner III joined The Offshore Group in 2005, and is currently the company’s Director of Continuous Improvement for its Mexico outsourcing solutions. In this capacity he holds overall responsibility for the implementation, management and maintenance of The Offshore Group’s ISO system, as well as initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of services that the company renders to its clientele.
Prior to his employment with The Offshore Group, Luis spent ten years working in financial institutions. As a commercial banker with JP Morgan Chase’s border banking unit, he was a relationship manager for commercial middle market companies. With Merrill Lynch he acted as financial advisors, involved in the sales of offshore trusts, offshore mutual funds, international loans and Eurobonds. Additionally, he held positions with Wells Fargo and Pain Webber International.
Luis is a graduate of the University of Arizona, where he majored in business administration. He holds a Series 7 license with the New York Stock Exchange, and is fluent in Spanish and English. He is originally from Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico.
Jeff Prileson serves as The Offshore Group’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He joined the company in 1993, and has overall responsibility for the Group’s financial affairs and client contractual relationships. He also serves as a strategic advisor to the Group’s CEO as a member of the Executive Management team. He has over three decades of experience in financial planning and international management issues with maquiladora industry manufacturing and information services companies.
Prior to joining The Offshore Group in 1993, Prileson was financial manager for Pagid-Carlisle, S.A. de C.V., a German-US manufacturing joint venture in Queretaro, Mexico. Earlier in his career he worked with Reuters Information Services and BBN Inc., in Massachusetts, and the Latin American division of New Holland Farm Equipment in Pennsylvania.
Prileson is fluent in Spanish and earned the Master of International Management degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He holds a B.A. in International Studies from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and has studied in Bogota, Colombia.
Carlos Espriu is the Executive Vice President of the Offshore Group. He began his career with the company in 1989 as information systems manager. In that position, Mr. Espriu developed Offshore’s first computer system devoted to client manufacturing in Mexico support services. He was promoted to be Maquilas Teta Kawi´s General Manager in 1995 and to EVP for the group in 2006.
Before joining The Offshore Group, Mr. Espriu was Computer Center Director at the Monterey Institute of Technology & Higher Education (ITESM) North Sonora Campus. He also oversaw the campus school’s academic program in information systems. Other positions Mr. Espriu has held include systems administrator at Cementos Mexicanos (CEMEX), and management systems consultant in the tourism and construction industries.
At ITEMS, Mr. Espriu earned degrees in Management Information Systems, a Master’s Degree in Information Systems and an MBA. His community activities include memberships on the outreach councils of the Sonora Institute of Technology; he is a board member of ITESM Campus Sonora Norte.
Eduardo Saavedra assumed the position of Executive Vice President of Business Development in January 2008. The position carries corporate level responsibilities to engage the company in strategic thinking and planning to sustainably grow The Offshore Group’s Mexico outsourcing businesses by acquiring new clients, opening new venues, and supporting existing clients with their development in Mexico.
In March 2002, Eduardo joined The Offshore Group as Director of Import & Export and a member of senior management to focus on elevating Client service levels through customer-centric systems implementations, organizational streamlining, and business process reengineering. In 2007 and through Eduardo’s organization, over $1.8 billion dollars of goods were declared in compliance with Customs laws on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border across 67 client companies.
Eduardo Saavedra is a 1984 graduate of the University of Arizona with a BS in Systems Engineering. Over the past 22 years, Eduardo has built his career around maquiladora industry trade between Mexico and the United States.
