United Kingdom –based, Trac Precision Machining, part of the Trac Group Ltd, will begin to manufacture turbine blades for commercial jet engines and power generation equipment in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico during the first quarter of 2009 under The Offshore Group Mexico Shelter Plan.
The company has signed an agreement with The Offshore Group for the initial rental of 18,154 square feet growing to 35,000 feet of industrial space within 3 years, as well as for outsourced manufacturing support, or “shelter,” services at the Roca Fuerte Industrial Park. Trac Tool plans to employ 200 workers at the project‘s maturity.
