The Offshore Group will hold its 14th Annual Manufacturing in Mexico Summit  from October 16-19, 2008 at the Camino Real Hotel in Saltillo Coahuila, Mexico.

The 2007 event's attendance was in excess of 250 individuals.  In addition to U.S. manufacturing firms, executives from European and Canadian companies, as well as from firms based in New Zealand, were in attendance.

This event was a special one in that it was the first Manufacturing Summit to be held at The Offshore Group's Manufacturers Zapalinamé location. For the previous 12 years the Summit had been held at the Group's, Sonora installations. In recent years the Saltilllo La Angostura Industrial Park has completed 40 acres of phase one development. A second phase of 60 acres is now under construction.  The number of direct labor workers employed by Offshore Group client companies has increased by 47% over the last several years.
